DECODES is an ANR-funded project focused on improving the energy efficiency of datacenters and digital infrastructures by optimizing the Domain Name System (DNS). The project aims to develop tools, methods, and models to measure and reduce the energy consumption associated with DNS resolutions, while preserving performance and security.

It brings together academic and industrial partners for achieving these goals.
